CLIENTS PARTICIPANTS

Celebrating 15 Years

October 2019

Fall 2019 is an important milestone for us as we celebrate 15 years of providing clinical nutrition research services to the food industry. Feeling reflective, we’ve compiled a list of the lessons we’ve learned or verified (with p<0.05!) over these past 15 years. We hope you enjoy!

  1. The food industry can change the world

Planetary health is more important than ever. We watch with amazement as our clients come up with novel ways to feed the world while protecting our planet.

  1. Keep innovating

We have seen advances in nutrition that we wouldn’t have dreamed of 15 years ago. We can’t wait to see what the future brings.

  1. The importance of nutrition cannot be understated

The field of nutritional science is exciting and constantly changing, with incredible interconnectedness. We are proud to play a role in new discoveries and developments to advance this science that is so near and dear to our hearts.

  1. Be a good partner

Whether it’s a supplier, collaborator, or fellow researcher, partnerships are what make everything possible.

  1. Invest in your team

We are fortunate to have an amazing team here at INQUIS Clinical Research, some of whom have been here since our early days as Glycemic Index Laboratories on Lombard Street. Our team’s high standards and strong work ethic are the reason for our success.

  1. Understand your clients

There is no substitute to meeting face-to-face. Going to conferences, trade shows, and events gives us the chance to meet our clients in person, deepening our relationship and better understanding each other’s needs and abilities.

  1. None of this is possible without our research participants

We are grateful to our team of research volunteers who participate in our clinical trials. We couldn’t complete studies without them.

  1. Keep learning

Nutritional science is evolving rapidly. Don’t blink.

  1. Process matters

In 2008, when we first become ISO-certified, the process and its accompanying documentation was daunting. Now, we can’t imagine functioning without it.

  1. Integrate technology

Technological developments have enabled us to scale up, advance our research, and improve efficiency.

  1. Harness the power of social media

From recruiting participants to connecting with colleagues and clients, social media is a powerful tool.

  1. Diversity is our strength

Different experiences, different points of view, more success.

  1. Move quickly, but without haste

Timing is often critical for our clients. Efficiency helps us meet our deadlines.

  1. Empower the consumer to protect their health

As we learn from our research participants, consumers are eager to take an active role in managing their health through diet. Let’s give them the tools to do it.

  1. Research is still FUN

From developing an interesting new protocol to finding new systems for capturing data, clinical nutrition research is exciting and we are happy to be here!

Thank you for a rewarding 15 years!
